Hello, I am Ms. Nour Nizar, and I am honored to serve as the Head of Ministry of Education subjects at Creative British School. My journey in education has been a remarkable one, rooted in the captivating town of Jordan, which I proudly call my hometown. In the year 2000, destiny brought me to the United Arab Emirates, and this incredible place has been my cherished home ever since.
My academic pursuit has been a diverse and enriching one. I hold a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the prestigious University of West London. Before that, I delved into the realm of education, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies, along with a Diploma in English literature. This comprehensive academic background reflects my deep-rooted commitment to both education and personal growth.
My core educational philosophy resonates with the timeless wisdom of John Dewey. I firmly believe that education should be a source of joy, a journey of exploration, purpose, and personalization. For me, education is not a mere preparation for life; it is life itself. My mission is to empower young minds with the tools for lifelong learning, enabling them to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Over the course of my career, which spans nearly 21 years, I have had the privilege of working in various educational settings, spanning primary and secondary schools. This rich and diverse experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of different curriculums, allowing me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
Beyond the world of academia, I find solace and inspiration in my personal interests. Watching football matches not only entertains me but also sharpens my analytical thinking skills. Additionally, I am an avid reader of cinema critiques, which allows me to explore the beauty of languages and cultures through the lens of storytelling. And when the opportunity arises, I embrace the exhilaration of sports car driving, a thrilling pursuit that mirrors my adventurous spirit.
